2-day practice match between Worcestershire and Pakistan begins today
Pakistan will play a two-day side match against Worcestershire starting from today as the team looks to prepare for the all important third Test match at Edgbaston with the series leveled at 1-1.
The side match will be a chance for the squad to prepare effectively for the third Test and work on their weaknesses so that they are not exposed once again in testing English conditions.
Pakistan might try pacers Imran Khan and Sohail Khan in this match in order to assess their performances and abilities ahead of the next Test match because Pakistan might make a few changes in the next Test match. Openers Hafeez and Shan Masood have also failed to deliver in the first couple of Test matches so this side match will provide a chance to reserve opener Sami Aslam to prove his mettle and knock on the door for a place in starting eleven.
