World number one Novak Djokovic and the Swiss maestro will face off yet again this year but this time in the group stage of the ATP world tour finals in London O2. Both players have already faced each other 6 times in different tournaments this year.
The duo are grouped together in the Stan Smith group and are expected to qualify for the semi finals as the top two from this group. This will be the 43rd meeting between the two superstars of tennis and interestingly both players have won 21 matches each but on Tuesday one of them wil take the lead in the rivalry and that person is expected to be Novak Djokovic because of his red hot form.
The world number 1 player has won two out of three encounters between the two players at the O2 arena in London.
Novak won his first match of this year’s tournament against Kei Nishikori while Roger Federer won his opener against Tomas Berdych. Both players won their matches in straight sets.
This will be interesting match to watch as both players will look to assert their authority over the other player as the season draws towards an end.
