Lahore: It seems the conflict arising due to objections raised by some important national players on Amir’s return in the team has presently subsided.
Recently ODI captain Azhar Ali and seasoned batsman Muhammad Hafeez had informed PCB that they would not play if Amir, guilty of spot fixing was included in the squad for New Zealand tour planned next month.
The stance taken by two important players created some tension at the national fitness camp arranged at Gaddafi stadium Lahore leading to various speculations in the media about Amir’s future and its effect on Pakistan cricket.
However the tension eased up when the three players were seen practicing together.
Hafeez and Azhar for the past couple of days were seen practicing away from Amir at the training camp but today they were seen together.
On Monday Azhar as a batsman also faced some deliveries from Amir at the nets.
