Wellington: On his return to International cricket, Pakistani fast bowler Muhammad Amir was able to take only one wicket with an average of 100 runs in the first T20 series.
He was kept away from cricket for 5 years being accused for spot fixing. Amir was able to take a single wicket in the first T20I match against NZ but was unable to take further wickets in the other two matches. Wahab Riaz took 5 wickets with an average of 21.40 and Shahid Afridi took 3 wickets with an average of 30.33
Umar Gul took 2 and Imad Wasim was able to take a single wicket. Among the batsmen Umar Akmal scored the maximum 85 runs, Muhammad Hafeez 82, the rest of the players remained unsuccessful.
