Amir’s six helps Omar Associates qualify for Grade II final
LAHORE: Pakistani left arm fast bowler Mohammad Amir took six wickets in a domestic match to put Omar Associates in the final of PCB Patron’s Trophy (Grade II) tournament, ARYSports.tv reports.
The three-day match between Khayaban-e-Amin and Omar Associates ended in a draw. However, Omar Associates qualified for the final due to a better run rate.
Amir bowled 14 overs and took six wickets in the three-day game.
The pacer, speaking to media, said that he is playing domestic level cricket on regular basis and has been performing well.
“My target is to play the World Twenty20 2016”, he said.
