Ankle injury pushed Yuvraj Singh out of the World T20
Yuvraj Singh is ruled out of the World T20 due to an ankle injury that caused him during their important game against Australia, which India won to qualify to the semi final.
India has called Manish Pandey as Yuvraj’s replacement in the squad. Yuvraj Singh played a handy role with Virat Kohli in Pakistan’s and Australia’s game, he scored 24 and 21 runs respectively.
Pandey has previously played two T20 internationals against Zimbabwe in Harare in July last year. The man has also played four one day internationals for India as well.
Manish Pandey batted brilliantly against Australia in the fifth ODI of the series in Sydney, he scored his maiden international century to give his team the only win of that ODI series.
Ravi Shastri told media that Yuvraj Singh is a key player for India and he will surely be missed in the big clash against West Indies.
