Whereas, the ICC President, Shashank Manohar has clearly expressed his views during his tenure as the BCCI president about the Big Three formula and he was against it, thus, he will try to revamp the structure and he has the decision making power being the ICC boss.
The formula was proposed by former BCCI President N. Srinivasan, who was later suspended for being allegedly involved in match fixing in Indian Premier League.
PCB was the last board to favor the Big Three structure knowing that it would not be beneficial for Pakistan. Shahryar Khan has again stated that he will take stand against this formula and will look to get it abolished, “A decision to do away with the Big Three formula has already been taken, but how will it be dismantled will be decided in next meeting.
