“Aaqib took the Chittagong job after Robin Singh failed to fulfill the contract with Chittagong Vikings for the season. Former Indian cricketer Robin was signed by Chittagong as the head coach but due to personal reasons had to pull out from the job,”
Aqib Javed played in 163 ODIs and 22 test matches for Pakistan and took 236 international wickets for Pakistan. He was a skillful bowler who could move it both ways. His inclusion in the Vikings setup will definitely help them gain ground in quick time.
Aqib helped UAE qualify for the World T20 in 2014 which was a significant achievement considering the team UAE had at that time.
