Army Chief gets honorary championship belt from WBC
Pakistan’s Chief Of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif got honorary championship belt from the World Boxing Council President.
Pakistani origin, British boxer Amir Khan met General Raheel Sharif at the General Head Quarter (GHQ) and presented him the honorary belt.
Mauricio Sulaimán, the president of World Boxing Council honored the Army Chief for his precious efforts to bring peace in Pakistan.
Back in 2014, Amir Khan called on Raheel Sharif in Rawalpindi and showed solidarity with Pakistan’s armed forces after the brutal attack on Army Public School, where almost 140 innocent people were killed and most of them were children.
He also paid a visit to the Combined Military Hospital to see injured students from the attack.
