Arthur’s arrival date uncertain as he waits for his Australian passport
KARACHI: The arrival date of Mickey Arthur, Pakistan’s newly appointed head coach, to the country is still uncertain, however, as per the sources, he is expected to reach Pakistan as soon as he gets his Australian passport.
As per scoreline.aisa, Arthur has applied for the Australian citizenship and his passport is anticipated to be issued in the next couple of days.
Pakistan has already notified their visa authorities in Australia to entertain Arthur’s visa application as soon as they get it so that he flies to the country at his earliest.
Pakistan Cricket Board’s boot camp is to be concluded on May 28th and the 21 shortlisted players by the selectors are scheduled to attend a skill camp in Lahore from May 30th for the upcoming England tour.
The PCB is hoping that Mickey Arthur will be join the skill camp for at least a couple of days before it is wrapped up on June 5th.
Moreover, the appointment of the team’s bowling coach is also subjected to Arthur’s joining and Pakistan has to face England in the first test match of the tour on July 14th,
