Australia make 244 against South Africa
Perth: South Africa produced a stunning comeback on the second day of the first Test against Australia at the WACA Ground in Perth on Friday.
In reply to South Africa’s 242, Australia were dismissed for 244, a lead of just two runs.
Opener David Warner top-scored with 97, while Australian captain Steve Smith was the victim of a contentious lbw decision for a duck.
Dale Steyn left the field with a shoulder injury, but Vernon Philander picked up 4-56.
