The most expensive franchise of the Pakistan Super League Karachi Kings has finalized its sponsors and the real estate tycoons Bahria Town are going to be the major sponsor for this Karachi based franchise.
Talking exclusively to ARY News CEO of Bahria Town Ali Riaz, who is also son of Malik Riaz, said that their company is known to back all the positive things associated with Pakistan and this initiative to sponsor Karachi Kings is part of that policy. He was optimistic that through Pakistan Super League international cricket will return to Pakistan and hopefully in future this T20 league will take place in Pakistan just like the rest of the leagues around the world.
Ali Riaz also announced that on the 5th of February Bahria Town will launch another mega project in Karachi that is the ‘Bahria Sports City’ which will be made on the same concept as the ‘Dubai Sports City’. The main part of this project will be a stadium which will be built in accordance with international standards.
Finally Ali Riaz hoped that the Karachi Kings will win the inaugural edition of the Pakistan Super League and wished the team best of the luck for the tournament which begins on the 4th of February 2016.
As the mission statement of Bahria town rightly indicates that they are focused on giving their best at whatever they are involved in and Karachi Kings will be another glaring existence in their portfolio.
