BCCI terminates Harsha Bhogle’s commentary contract
The Indian Premier League 2016 will miss the famous voice of the most famous Indian commentator, Harsha Bhogle, after the BCCI has terminated his commentary contract.
Harsha Bhogle has been commentating on Indian cricket since around early 90s and he was an integral part of IPL commentary team, but, he announced his absence in the 9th edition of the IPL through his Twitter handle.

As per the media reports, feedback from players weren’t pleasing about the commentator that made the BCCI to make this huge decision.
Recently, there were many reservations about the quality of commentary during the mega World T20 event in India, it seems like the decision of the BCCI is a result of that criticism received.
During the nail-biting contest between India and Bangladesh in the World T20, the legendary Bollywood actor tweeted, “With all due respects, it would be really worthy of an Indian commentator to speak more about our players than others all the time.” The tweet from the Big B was retweeted by MS Dhoni himself.
