BJP opposes proposed Pak-India cricket series
NEW DELHI: A leader of India’s ruling party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has opposed the proposed Pakistan-India series in United Arab Emirates (UAE) this year, ARYSports.tv reports.
BJP leader R.K. Singh has opposed the cricketing series by stating that Pakistan is involved in the terrorist attacks in India. He has asked the government to review its decision regarding the restoration of cricketing ties between the two nations.
It should be noted that Pakistan and India have signed Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) for playing six cricketing series in the next eight years.
The two nations will face off against each other in December of this year.
