Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Shaharyar Khan has said that he was disappointed to see the Sri Lankan players not being a part of Pakistan’s premier T20 league PSL.
While talking to media in Lahore, during a local event, Khan said that Sri Lankan players would have added a lot to the league and their absence will be felt. He also added that in the 2nd season or after that they will try their best to hold a few matches in Pakistan as well so that the local fans are also entertained.
In order to keep Pakistan Super League corruption free, officials from the ICC anti-corruption unit will be keeping a close eye on the players and the league in general during the inaugural season as said by Shaharyar Khan.
Shaharyar Khan was adamant that the Pakistan cricket team has to overcome flaws in the fielding and fitness department and he was pleased to see the players focusing on that part of the game in a rigorous fashion.
