Cristiano Ronaldo’s trips to Morocco scrutinized
Cristiano Ronaldo has been asked to stop his frequent visits to Morocco by the Real Madrid president Florentino Perez because of a low key season for the Portuguese superstar, Sport reported.
“According to El Espanol, the Madeira-born forward has to stop seeing his friend Badr Hari, who he visits in Marrakech every afternoon Monday to Thursday”
Perez will be relying on his good terms with the King of Morocco to keep an eye on how many visits Cristiano makes to Morocco.
“Perez met with Ronaldo to ask him to stop these trips. But why? Because of his awful performances. Moreover, to control the escapes of CR7, Perez is counting on his good relationship with Mohamed VI, the king of Morocco. He’s asked the king to inform him of all the times Ronaldo comes to the country”
It seems as if Ronaldo has no other choice but to change his routine and stay in Madrid after the morning training sessions and concentrate on his game with Real Madrid because the team is reliant on him to provide the goals and lead the side in crunch situations.
