Dhoni focused on Australian cricket rather than retirement
Indian captain MS Dhoni believes that he is not considering retirement from the limited players format and he is focused on the next tour of Australia and the T20 World Cup. He added that the next three and a half months are important for team India as important assignments are coming up.
“I have always believed in the present. No answers on future. For now, it’s the Australia tour,”
“I have not thought beyond the World Twenty20. All energy and resources need to go in one direction, these will be an important three and half months for us.”
MS added that retiring from test cricket has given me more time off cricket and he can easily manage himself in the shorter formats.
“Now that I don’t play Test cricket, I have more time to switch on and off. The break gives me time to be off cricket and get back in groove.”
The five match ODI series between India and Australia begins on the 12th of January while the three match T20 series will start on the 26th of January.
