Pakistan’s former batting maestro, Hanif Mohammad is fighting for his life, he has been shifted to ventilator as his condition has got worsen.
Hanif Mohammad’s son, Shoaib Mohammad told Express Tribune that the legend was doing good for the past couple of days, but, his condition has worsened drastically.
“My father [Hanif] is currently on ventilator as his vitals were going down, therefore his doctors decided to put him there,” told Shoaib.
“All family members are currently in the hospital, and all I urge is for people to pray for his well-being. I hope his condition gets well soon,” he added.
Hanif Mohammad was admitted to a private hospital of Karachi due to some respiration issues, he was diagnosed with a lung cancer around three years ago and it has been learned that it might be recurring.
The batting legend is often known for his stubborn innings of 337 runs against the West Indies in a match saving cause. It is still the highest individual score for a Pakistani batsman in test inning.
