The Pakistan Super League, on Sunday, saw an interesting record being made when the last pair of Quetta Gladiators, Grant Elliott and Zulfiqar Babar, snitched 63 runs for the final wicket to set up a world record for the highest partnership at the 10th wicket stand.
The Gladiators were reeling at 66/9 but at this point in time Elliott and Babar joined hands to form this magnificent partnership. Elliott, who has been the top performer for the Gladiators in the past couple of matches, scored 40 runs off 29 balls while Babar remained not out on 20 runs off 11 balls.

The previous best partnership for the 10th wicket in T20 matches was between HH Streak and JE Anyon for Warwickshire against Worcestershire at Birmingham way back in 2005.
This partnership ensured that Quetta got to a respectable total of 129 runs.
Although the Quetta Gladiators lost the match by 8 wickets but this partnership will remain in the record books for quite a while.
