Real Madrid goal keeper Keylor Navas has been in red hot form this season as the Los Blancos player is yet to concede a goal this season at home during the UEFA Champions League matches. While talking to Realmadrid TV the Costa Rican national player said that, on Wednesday, the team will need the support of the home crowd in order to proceed to the final at Milan by overcoming the challenge posed by English side Manchester City.
“I’d ask our supporters to get behind us, to be with us and for them to give their all, just as we will be doing out on the pitch. Whenever they roar loudly we really do feel it. We’ll be going out for the win. Hala Madrid and long live life!”
Regarding the motivation level of the side Keylor said that the team is in good shape and will give it their all on Wednesday.
“It’s a great game and it’s one we must approach in the right way and try to win it. We’ll be going out to give our all on the pitch.”
Although Manchester City were not able to win this weekend during EPL and their performance generally throughout the season has been inconsistent but Navas believes that the Spanish giants won’t underestimate their opponents and they approach the game in the same manner like any other game.
“We always try to treat the games with the same importance. The next game is the most important one and that means that Wednesday’s game is the most important match of the season, and we’ve got to approach it in the way it deserves”.
The good news for the Los Blancos is that Portuguese player Ronaldo has returned to training and is contention to play with the match. The French player Karim Benzema has also returned to training but he trained separately yesterday.
