LONDON: New Zealand’s young cricketer Glenn Phillips hits six sixes in an over at historic English cricket ground.
He did this playing for the MCC against the Duke of Norfolk’s XI. This is the first time ever that somebody has hit six sixes in an over at the Arundel ground. Phillips stayed unbeaten at 201 runs and MCC scored 299 for five before declaring.
In response the Duke of Norfolk’s XI scored 174/7 at the end of the play as the match ended in a draw. Glenn Phillips was born in South Africa, he represented New Zealand at the under-19 world cup and plays for Auckland at the domestic level. Phillips plays with MCC under the Young cricketers program.
