Chief selector of the Pakistan cricket team Haroon Rasheed was disappointed to see another controversy related to Pakistan cricket and this time in the form of the doping issue of spinner Yasir Shah.
Yasir Shah was provisionally banned by the ICC yesterday after he was tested positive for doping.
“You wake up every day and are faced with a new problem in Pakistan cricket. We now have to revise all our plans for the coming events,” Rasheed told Press Trust of India
Rasheed said that the team will now have to revisit all plans as Yasir Shah will most probably not be available for the series in New Zealand.
“As per ICC rules, a process would be followed now but at this time all we know is that he is provisionally banned and is most probably out of the tour to New Zealand,”
