Pakistan origin British boxer, Mohammad Amir is ready to get in the ring and conquer it once again after getting his broken hand fixed.
“After my hand operation I am ready to go back in the ring and win more titles and make Pakistan proud,” Amir Khan told media.
Amir Khan was surprisingly fighting with a broken hand for the past 13 years and he had to undergo a two-hour long surgery where surgeons removed bone from his hip and grafted it in hand.
He underwent the surgery in July and had to stay out of the ring and practice for six months, now he is feeling better, stronger and ready to knock some opponents down.
Currently, Amir Khan is training in San Francisco for his next fight, where he will defend his World Boxing Title. However, his opponent is not yet decided.
The 30-year old further told that he would like to fight twice this year, “I want to fight 2 times this year. Before ramzan and then in November,” said Khan.
After these fights, the pugilist will visit Pakistan to meet coaches of the country to help improve the situation of this sport here.
