ICC takes dope test of three Pakistan cricketers
The International Cricket Council took dope test samples of Pakistan cricketers which included test captain Misbah-ul-Haq, one day captain Azhar Ali and fast bowler Junaid Khan.
The Pakistan cricketers are currently part of a skills camp in Lahore where the players are preparing for the upcoming tour of England. It is part of ICC’s policy to take random dope test samples of players during cricket or during international matches and this dope test is part of that same policy.
Earlier the ICC also adopted the same policy when they took sample of leg spinner Yasir Shah which turned out to be positive which is why the spinner was consequently banned to play international cricket for a specific period.
