Imran accuses Nawaz, Sethi for poor World Cup show
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan cricketing legend Imran Khan has accused Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi for the team’s dismal performance in World Cup 2015, ARY Sports reports.
Pakistan has lost both of its World Cup matches so far. They were handed at 76 runs defeat at the hands of India whereas they are faced a 150 runs loss against West Indies.
Imran Khan, speaking to media, said that Najam Sethi was illegally appointed as the chairman of the cricketing board.
“The condition of the sport is same as the country”, he said.
The former captain also looked disappointed with the team’s performance during the tree plantation campaign in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Saturday.
