Imran Khan to attend Pakistan-India match
Legendary Pakistan allrounder turned politician Imran Khan will attend the Indo-Pak match at Eden gardens in Kolkata on Saturda and is expected to give a pep talk to Pakistan players.
“Khan is arriving in Kolkata early Friday and will attend the Pakistan-India match and before that he will meet Pakistan players and give tips on how to handle the pressures of an India-Pakistan match,” said Khan’s party spokesman.
Top PCB officials Shaharyar Khan (chairman) and Najam Sethi (chairman Executive committee) will be in attendance to watch their team take on India in the match.
“Our chairman (Shaharyar) is travelling to Kolkata for the match and so is Najam Sethi (executive committee chairman),” PCB media director Amjad Hussain said.
Also on the guest list is Zaheer Abbas, who is the current ICC president.
