Interview with the magician Saeed Ajmal

The mystery of his Doosra and the magic in his fingers inflicted a lot of pain on opponent batsmen and for a good span of five years he made Pakistan world beaters in international cricket. This is why Saeed Ajmal is without a doubt Pakistan cricket’s greatest servant of recent times.

While talking to ARY sports in an exclusive interview Saeed Ajmal made it clear that after a remodeled bowling action he is working to regain his former zeal and effectiveness. He will bowl with the same zip and turn if and when he gets a chance to play for Pakistan again

“yes sure , i have got new action, and now i am working on my same power of wicket taking “

Pakistan’s new ODI captain Azhar Ali has made a decent start to his captaincy stint and Saeed Ajmal spoke highly of him as and praised him as a captain. He was hopeful that he will take Pakistan cricket to new heights and he was sure that he will become a very successful captain

“Azhar is a good player, and he will be a very successful captain. he is humble and good with rest of the team players “

Pakistan’s domestic structure and its competitiveness is one area that needs to be looked at closely so that Pakistan can produce and nurture talent in the right manner. When I asked Saeed Ajmal about his views regarding PCB’s initiatives regarding domestic cricket and its general progress, Ajmal was content lines the Board was working on but he said that there is still room for improvement

” I think this board is doing their best to help cricketers, there is a big scope for improvement though “

Shifting our focus to the World T20 in 2016 which is scheduled to take place in India and every team looks to bring out their A game for such events in order to win this elusive ICC trophy. When asked about his top three contenders to lift the title his answer was

“Pakistan, New Zealand, and West Indies “

There are news revolving around print and electronic media, about Saeed Ajmal and his imminent retirement, from time to time but Ajmal put an end to all such rumors by stating that he has no plans for retirement for another four years

“No I am not considering retiring from cricket for another 4 years”

Saeed Ajmal is also running his Saeed Ajmal Foundation and a cricket academy in Faisalabad. He has been working long and hard to bring up talent in Pakistan and help out the cricketers of the rural areas of Pakistan through his academy. He was happy with the work the foundation is doing and also told us that new plans will be reveled soon

“Our foundation is working well, and we will have plans revealed soon”

Finally Saeed Ajmal was kind enough to leave a message for his fans all over the world and requested his fans to pray for him.

“stay blessed and keep praying for me. I love you all “

Saeed Ajmal has achieved a lot for Pakistan cricket and commanded a lot of respect from the entire cricketing fraternity. Fittingly all his fans and cricket lovers would love to see him back on field and perform for Pakistan once again.
