Iraq Thomas, a batsman from Tobago, who was representing Scarborough/Mason Hall, achieved an unbelievable feat of smashing a century off just 21 deliveries in the Tobago Cricket Association’s T20 match on Sunday against Speyside.
Thomas, a 23 yea-old, struck fifteen 6’s and five 4’s in the brief stay at the crease, his side chased down a target of 152 runs in just 8 overs, courtesy of his tempestuous innings of 131 runs on just 31 balls.
Earlier in the day, Iraq Thomas ripped off the bowling line of Charlotteville with his blistering innings of 97 runs off 53 deliveries, he probably wasn’t satisfied with his knock, that’s why he murdered Speyside’s bowlers in the next game.
Sir Don Bradman also toyed against a local side back in November 1931 when he devastated bowling lineup of Lithgow by scoring a ton off 24 balls on a newly laid pitch in Blackheath. The best batsman in the history of cricket was dismissed after scoring 256 runs in that contest.
