Karachi Kings will be conducting trials for their ‘Khiladi ki khoj’ talent hunt program from Monday, October 3 at National Stadium, Karachi, to find hidden gems and give them a chance to shine in the second season of Pakistan Super League.
Since Karachi Kings announced the biggest cricket talent hunt program, they have been receiving thousands of applications daily and are expected to receive more till the end of this campaign.
Participants have to report between 9 AM to 6 PM at National Stadium, these trials will take place from 3 to 6 October. Pakistan’s veteran cricketers including, Saleem Yousaf, Iqbal Qasim, Jalaluddin and the former skipper, Rashid Latif will judge the talent of young cricketers with a critical cricketing eye.
Owner of Karachi Kings, Mr. Salman Iqbal said, “This is just the beginning of a new era in Pakistan’s cricket, the PSL has definitely proved to be a great step in the right direction. The selection of emerging players by Karachi Kings will be another milestone in the national cricket arena.”
The trials will be taken of players’ bowling, batting and fielding skills. At the end of the campaign, the selected participants will be included in the PSL 2017 draft in emerging players category. They will have a chance to feature in the second edition of PSL.
Instructions for trials:
The participants must belong to an age bracket of 16-23.
Participants have to bring their CNIC or B-form along with them at the day of trials.
Participants must wear white kit at the day of trials.
Participants must bring their own kitbag.
