South Africa’s left arm pacer; Lonwabo Tsotsobe is under investigation for match-fixing allegations according to reports. It is further investigation of the case that has seen Ghulam Bodi being banned for 20 years.
Tsotsobe has told Wisden India that he has handed over his bank details and cell phone records to Cricket South Africa after they asked for them. Wisden India has quoted Tsotsobe saying he has provided them every detail that they wanted, the officials has told the fast bowler that they will get back to him.
Ex-South African batsman, Ghulam Bodi accepted last month that he was involved in recruiting players for match-fixing in South Africa’s domestic T20 league last year. Bodi is being punished with a 20 year long ban for his act. The leaked documents show that he has approached eight players for fixing purpose.
