Major changes in Pakistan’s coaching staff
According to reports the Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to rope in the great Caribbean batsman Viv Richards as batting consultant for the Pakistan cricket team as important assignments in the form of World T20 and Asia Cup are just around the corner.
Viv is currently coaching the Quetta Gladiators and under his presence the team has been performing exceedingly well during the inaugural season of the Pakistan Super League. He has clearly influenced the Quetta side as they seem like a very confident outfit on and off the field. He will replace the former Zimbabwe player Grant Flower who is currently the batting coach of Pakistan cricket team.
Meanwhile the PCB also decided to bring in the former Pakistan all rounder Azhar Mahmood as the bowling coach as Mushtaq Ahmed has failed to deliver on a regular basis. He will be with the team as a T20 specialist as he has vast amount of experience of playing T20 cricket leagues all over the globe.
Azhar Mahmood is currently participating the Pakistan Super League as a player for the Islamabad United side and he has been performing really well with both bat and bowl.
