Malinga and Albie Morkel roped in by PSL
The second edition of the Pakistan Super League got another boost as T20 experts in the shape of Sri Lankan Lasith Malinga and South African all-rounder Albie Morkel have been inducted in the roster for second edition of Pakistan’s premier T20 league.
Pakistan Super League announced on it’s social media forums on Tuesday that Lasith Malinga and Albie Morkel will be up for grabs for the second edition after the players agreed to be a part of Pakistan Super League.
Lasith Malinga, who is famous for his lethal bowling, gained a reputation for delivering searing inswinging yorkers from a round-arm action and also some quality slower balls which would bamboozle the batsmen. He is a potent part of the Sri Lankan pace battery.
On the other hand Albie Morkel has played for the Proteas national team for a significant amount of time and he is a destructive player down the order and can also pick up wickets through his medium fast bowling. He provides balance to the side through his all-round capabilities.
