Manchester United trying to rope in Ibrahimovic
PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been in red hot form this season and has scored a staggering 35 goals this season which is the highest he has scored in a single season during his time with the top notch Ligue 1 side. His current form has attracted interest from various corners of the football world.
Although the strikes has been tight lipped regarding rumors of him moving out of the French capital but it is understandable that the expected new Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho wants to reunite with Ibra and he will make a move for the Swede. Ibrahimovic’s contract with PSG ends this summer and things will get interesting as the transfer window approaches.
“The situation is what it is. We will see what happens. We’re talking with everyone,” Ibrahimovic exclusively told Goal.com
“We are in talks with PSG but also with other interested clubs. We will see what happens but I cannot give you an answer today. Just be positive!”
“[You’ll know] when it’s official! I will know at that time too. Before that, I wouldn’t know.”
“It’s difficult to answer this question. When I know, you’ll know and the whole world will know. Everyone is asking that question but I do not have the answer yet.”
Zlatan joined PSG in 2012 and since then he has appeared in 120 matches for the Paris based side and has accumulated 110 goals which is quite an extraordinary achievement. He current international goal tally for Sweden stands at 62 goals in 112 matches.
