Misbah all focused to crush Windies
CHRISTCHURCH: Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq has said his side will enter the key game against West Indies, only to win, ARY Sports reports.
Misbah, speaking at a news conference, said it was not easy to play against any side in the World Cup. He added that every match is important for his side.
“We will perform well against the Carribean side”, Misbah said.
He further said the final XI will be announced after pitch assessment.
The captain also stated that pacer Mohammad Irfan is working hard to stay away from the danger area whie bowling. Irfan was warned twice by on-field umpire in match against India after he landed in the danger-zone couple of times during his spell.
The green shirts are expected to make one change in their side as leg spinner Yasir Shah is likely to be dropped in place of opener Nasir Jamshed.
Both Pakistan and West Indies lost their first game of the mega event. Pakistan faced a 76 runs defeat from the hands of India whereas Ireland handed a four wicket loss to the Windies.
