Mohammad Hafeez’s medical report is ‘unsatisfactory’
Pakistan’s experienced allrounder, Mohammad Hafeez is doubtful for the tour of England due to his knee injury that he sustained during the Asia Cup earlier this year.
As per Dawn News, the latest medical reports of Mohammad Hafeez suggest that his knee injury is not in a very satisfactory condition.
However, the Pakistan Cricket Board will make the final decision on his selection for the England tour next week after he will undergo the tests once again.
Hafeez got injured during the Asia Cup in Bangladesh, but, his injury got worse during the World T20 in India, he missed two key matches for Pakistan against New Zealand and Australia.
The 35-year old Hafeez pulled his name out of the fitness tests due to his injury and he was also exempted from the boot camp in Kakul.
Despite of the injury, Inzamam Ul Haq named him in the 21 shortlisted names for England tour, however, his selection is subjected to fitness.
According to reports, the PCB officials are weighing the option to send Mohammad Hafeez abroad for treatment if he is unable attain fitness.
