Manchester: Pakistan’s legspinner Yasir Shah who was instrumental in the team’s success at Lord’s is suffering from an injury scare after being hit on the shoulder by one of the seamers towards the end of the nets according to Daily Express.
Yasir was attended by the team doctor straight after being hit on the shoulder and was seen in clear discomfort after the injury. Despite the injury the team management is confident that Yasir Shah will be okay for the second Test match and will be fit in time for the all important match at Old Trafford.
Yasir Shah took ten wickets in the match at Lord’s and was consequently declared man of the match. Pakistan would be hoping that the injury scare is just a minor one and the match winner will be fully fit and rearing to go for the next Test match which begins tomorrow.
