Notice served to PCB by FBR
The Federal Board of Revenue in Lahore region has served the Pakistan Cricket Board with a notice stating that the board has not paid tax on the income it earned during the Pakistan Super League.
According to sources the Pakistan Cricket Board has not paid a hefty amount of 170 million in taxes. The board was supposed to pay 34% in taxes on the amount earned from the Pakistan Super League. Meanwhile the Pakistan Cricket Board has only paid 1% in taxes associated with the league’s income.
The FBR has asked the PCB to immediately pay the remaining amount in order to avoid further consequences.
