Pakistan Cup’s extraordinary performers likely to undergo a dope test
The Pakistan Cricket Board is to conduct dope tests of players that are specifically doing extraordinarily well in the ongoing Pakistan Cup.
The PCB has decided to conduct these dope tests as per the directives of the International Cricket Council to check against any possible use of banned substances.
A PCB official revealed that there are dope tests conducted of other players as well other than Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Sami, Khurram Manzoor, Sami Aslam, Bilawal Bhatti and Mohammad Hassan.
Almost after every game of Pakistan Cup, one or two players are being tested to check for the use of illegal substances.
It is the first time PCB is holding Pakistan Cup in Faisalabad as a step to improve the domestic cricket structure of the country.
There are five teams taking part in this tournament which include Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad.
