Pakistan’s first female ODI centurion, Nain Abidi turns 31
Pakistan’s prolific woman cricketer, Nain Abidi has turned 31 years old on Monday. She has been an integral part of Pakistan’s batting lineup since she made her debut.
Nain made her first appearance at the international stage against the arch rivals India on December 19, 2006 at Jaipur.
She has represented Pakistan 70 One Day Internationals in which she has scored 1,244 runs at an average of 19.74. She is also the first batswoman of Pakistan to score a century in a 50-over game.
She scored 101 not out against Ireland in 2012 that Pakistan a 73 victory in the game.
She has also played 58 T20 internationals for Pakistan and was part of the Asian Games winning squad in both 2010 and 2014. She also featured the Girls in Green in the World T20
Recently, Nain achieved another feat by scoring the fastest century of the women’s domestic circuit on just 47 deliveries.
