LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) president, Shahryar Khan hosted a ceremony to honour Pakistan’s Disabled Cricket Team and Wheel Chair Cricket Association (WCA) on International Day of Persons with Disabilities at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

While addressing the ceremony, Khan said, “You are role models for all the disabled people of the country.”

“You are ambassadors of Pakistan and have proved this fact through excellent teamwork on and off the field.

“You are an example for them that you should not surrender for being disabled, you can do anything, in fact you can win championships,” he said while motivating the attendants.

Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) president, Shahryar Khan further said while talking to the media that he is not astonished by India’s act of not granting visas to Pakistan’s junior hockey team for the Junior Hockey World Cup.

Khan feels that Indo-Pakistan hockey relationship is being treated in the same manner as India have treated cricketing ties between the two countries.
