PCB nominates former captain Rameez Raja and Wasim Akram as PSL brand Ambassador
The Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to nominate former captain Ramees Raja and Wasim Akram as Pakistan Super League Ambassador.
PCB has decided to appoint former captain Ramees Raja and fast bowler Wasim Akram as brand Ambassadors for PSL. The formal announcement for both the players would be made soon.
Sources say that PSL organizers have` succeeded in bringing in foreign players and the matter has gained momentum after which Sri lankan captain Angelo Mathews and fast bowler Lasith Malinga have also signed the agreement. The organizers are optimistic that negotiations underway with England’s batsman Kevin Pietersen and W.Indies player Chris Gayle would be positive.
It may also be mentioned that W.Indies Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine,Dwayne Bravo,Devon Smith,Samuel Badree, S.Africa’s Richard LeviRobin Patterson, England’s BresnanMichael Carbery, New Zeland’s Grant Elliot, James Franklin, Australia’s Brad Hodge and Sri Lanka’s Tillakaratne Dilshan, Thisara Perera, Ajanta Mendison have already shown their consent to play in the PSL.
