Peshawar’s club to take part in Neymar Junior’s five tournament

Peshawar: A local football club from Peshawar will take part in the ‘Neymar Junior’s five’ in Brazil. The Peshawar club qualified for this international event after winning the qualifying round in Pakistan which included 120 teams.

The event in Brazil will include 35 teams which will coming over to Brazil from various parts of the world. The interesting things about this tournament is that only 5 players will part of each side and each match will be of 10 minutes. In case of a goal being scored the side going in deficit will have to remove one player from the field and will be down to 4 players consequently.

The team is captained by Fawad Ali Shah who is extremely happy for getting this opportunity and wants to put a great show by winning this tournament and making his country proud.

This idea of five a side tournament was initiated by the famous Brazil and FC Barcelona star player Neymar who wanted to give exposure to socially disadvantaged children a chance to excel at the highest level.
