PSL draft enters day 2
The day 2 of the drafting process of Pakistan Super League took place today in Lahore and after a exciting first day’s work teams were at it once again as they looked to complete their squad in the most efficient way possible. The day began with teams picking up players from the silver category which has exciting names and require careful analysis in order to pick up the best lot.
Silver Category Round 1
First pick from the silver category was for the Islamabad United and they picked up middle order batsman Babar Azam. The second pick of this round belonged to the Karachi Kings which was Iftikhar Ahmad. The next pick was for Peshawar Zalmi who picked up Aamer Yamin, who picked up a wicket on the first ball of his T20 debut. The Quetta Gladiators picked up Bilal Asif as their first pick of the day. In the final pick of the round Lahore Qalandars picked up Zafar Gohar.
Peshawar Zalmi made the first pick of this round Dawid Malan as their first pick of this round. Islamabad made their next pick which was Imran Khalid. The next pick of this round was of the Karachi Kings and they bagged Nauman Anwar who is an opening batsman. Lahore Qalandars picked up Hammad Azam as their next pick who is a useful all rounder. Quetta picked up Asad Shafiq as their final pick of the round.
Mushfiqur Rahim was picked up by the Karachi Kings as their wicket keeper batsman. Lahore Qalandars picked up left arm fast bowler Zia-ul-Haq as their pick of this round. Quetta gladiators picked up Mohammad Nawaz. Islamabad United picked up Kamran Ghulam. Peshawar Zalmi picked up the slow ball master Imran Khan junior.
Lahore Qalandars picked up Zohaib Khan as their first pick of this round. Quetta Gladiators picked up Saad Nasim as the first player of this round. The Islamabad United picked up Umar Amin as there pick of this round. Peshawar Zalmi picked up the Sialkot batsman Shahid Yousuf as a batsman. In the final pick of the round who picked up Usama Mir who is a talented leg spinner.
Quetta gladiators picked up Afghanistan top player Mohammad Nabi. Peshawar Zalmi went for left arm spinner Abdul Rehman. Lahore Qalandars picked up one day team captain Azhar Ali as there final silver category pick. Karachi picked up Sohail Khan who was the final pick of silver category for the kings. The silver category came to a close with Islamabad picking up Sam Billings who is a pretty decent batsman and wicket keeper.
