Lahore: PCB chairman Sheharyar Khan says extensive arrangements and a lot of hard work was put in while organizing PSL therefore its success would mean a collective success for the whole country and PCB as well.
While speaking to the media in Lahore PCB’s chairman Sheharyar Khan said this event besides its success would bring in financial gains for the PCB. He said PSL has provided the young players an opportunity to play with famous world class outstanding players which will help them in future also.
Sheharyar Khan said cricket fans in Pakistan are watching matches late night, we need such interest and appreciation to develop our regional teams. He said we’ll make even better arrangements for PSL next year and bring in 6 teams instead of 5.
Chairman PCB disclosed that an important meeting of ICC took place in which the decision for ending the monopoly of ‘BIG THREE’ was taken. Earlier Shashank Manohar himself had also shown concern and opposed the control of 3 countries on ICC and now we will also put forward our proposal in the next upcoming meeting.
