Ronaldo named ‘Healthiest Real Madrid player’ this season
Portuguese and Real Madrid’s iconic player Cristiano Ronaldo received the award for the healthiest Real Madrid player this season after a poll was conducted by Sanitas. Ronaldo was the most voted for player in the competition, which was carried out via Sanitas’ social media pages.
Ronaldo has played almost the entire season for Real Madrid this year and maintained his fitness throughout and his only injury related blemish came right towards the end of the season when he was made to sit out a couple of matches due to an hamstring injury.
200 Goals At The Bernabeu!
On Sunday Ronaldo’s brace kept the Los Blancos in the hunt for the title as the hosts ran victors against Valencia by 3-2. Ronaldo also reached another milestone in this particular match as he made his way to a remarkable 200th goal for his side in matches played at home. The player took just 172 matches to reach this mark. He averages 1.16 goal a game at the Bernabeu for the Los Blancos which is quite astonishing.
Ronaldo’s 200 goals have come in four different competitions: La Liga (149), the Champions League (40), the Copa del Rey (10) and the Spanish Super Cup (1).
