Auckland: New Zealand’s aggressive batsman Colin Munro blasts the second fastest half-century against Sri Lanka in the T20 International matches.
In the second T20 match played at Auckland’s Eden Park ground, New Zealand not only won the match but the Kiwis also won the title of fastest half-century in T20’s due to Colin Munro’s blazing half-century. Colin Munro made the second fastest half century in T20 by scoring 50 runs in 14 balls with a strike rate of 357.14 which included 7 sixes and one four. Whereas Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh while playing against England in 2007 scored a 12-ball fifty making it the fastest half-century in the history of T20.
It may be noted that Sri Lanka had given a target of 143 runs to New Zealand in the second T20 which the host team easily achieved in 10 overs losing a single wicket.
