KARACHI: Pakistan Super League’s chairman, Najam Sethi has revealed that some big names from the Caribbean will feature the second edition of the PSL, including Andre Fletcher, Keiron Pollard, Sunil Narine and the World T20 hero for the West Indies, Carlos Brathwaite.
Najam Sethi talked to Dawn News, where he said, “More boost for PSL’s second edition as more big names give their consent.”
Carlos Brathwaite was not a familiar until Micheal Holding screamed while commentating in the World T20 final “Carlos Brathwaite, remember the Carlos Brathwaite!”
The West Indies required 19 runs in the last over of the innings to become the World T20 Champions for the second time, when the allrounder struck four consecutive sixes off Ben Stokes to get his team over the line.
Sethi has also hinted that some more big names from the cricketing world are likely to feature in the upcoming season of the tournament.
The first edition of the PSL was a blockbuster hit and Sethi assured that the next season of the franchise league will be more exciting as it will feature more stars from around the world.
A number of times, Sethi has announced that he will try to hold the final of PSL 2 in Lahore, which can beef up the success and the fan following of the league.
