Speaking truth has cost me dearly in the past, says Shehzad
Pakistan’s opening batsman, Ahmed Shehzad said that he is out of national team because he speaks truth and he cannot hold himself back from doing it.
Shehzad talked to Express News and stated, “If a good thing is good and a bad is bad, that’s what I believe in saying.”
“I know it has cost me dearly in the past, but that’s the way I am and that’s the way I will be in the future,” he said.
Ahmed Shehzad recently played for PCB Patron XI in the side game against West Indies, under lights with the pink ball, where he scored a half-century in the game.
Shehzad, who is currently out of the side on disciplinary grounds, revealed that he has been working to improve his attitude.
“If there is something which is really wrong with me, I can assure everyone that I am working on it,” he said. “And I will keep on working on it until I get better at it.”
After playing for the first time with pink ball, he said, ”The world is changing, and every game is bringing innovation to increase the interest of viewers.”
