Three names come up for PCB chairmanship
Pakistan cricket board is going through a major phase of changes and it is likely that the PCB chairman Shaharyar Khan is one his way out and he likely to be replaced by someone else.
According to sources former cricketers Zaheer Abbas and Majid Khan are favorites to take charge alongside former Pakistan team manager Dr Nauman Niaz.
Zaheer Abbas, famously known as the Asian Bradman, is currently the President of the International Cricket Council and is so an able man for the job. He was a classy batsman of his time and played crucial knocks for Pakistan at various stages of his tournament.
Meanwhile another former legend of Pakistan cricket Majid Khan is alos in the running for the role of PCB chairman. He played cricket for Pakistan during the 1960s and 1970s and was a very successful opener for Pakistan during that era.
Dr Nauman Niaz is accomplished media journalist and currently works for a sports channel. He has served as Cricket Analyst and assistant team manager of Pakistan cricket team.
Although according to latest reports PCB chairman Shaharyar Khan has decided not present his resignation so it’s not going to be an easy decision for the Patron in chief Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as to who and how he replaces him.
