Tottenham’s Pochettino desires to become head coach of PSG one day
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has been instrumental in leading his side to the number second spot in the ongoing English Premier League. The manager has now expressed his desire to coach the top French side in Ligue 1 that is Paris Saint Germain. He added that he tries to watch all the games of the PSG side and is pretty much connected to the French champions.
“I try to watch all of their games, especially in the Champions League,” Pochettino said, according to the Evening Standard.
“Sometimes I speak with [PSG assistant coach] Jean-Louis Gasset. [Will I] return to Paris one day? Why not?”
“I watch a lot of live matches in the French league,” he said.
The Tottenham’s manager considers the Ligue 1 as a breeding ground for world class talent but he also knows the fact that competition there might not be as fierce as the Premier League.
“The [French] championship is not very attractive because PSG are far from the other teams. But I watch it a lot because it is a major source of players.
“There is talent so I have to follow Ligue 1.”
